What are favorites?

Favorites are a way of keeping track of the gems that you find on Vazaar. With favorites you can show people which photos you really like. Anyone can browse through your favorites and see a gallery of images that you've curated.

Eventually, you'll also be able to easily see the favorites from your contacts on your user page. We have this on our Development Queue.

What happens when I make a photo a favorite?

• You help to draw attention to that photo, because it will immediately show up in your favorites list.
• Anyone who has you marked as a contact will immediately be able to see the new favorite on their user page. (Coming soon.)
• The Vazaar homepage shows the current top favorites. This is an easy way to see what people currently like on the site. So, if you really like an image, share the love and mark it as a favorite... it may show up on the homepage!
• If two images are about to be featured in a topic and they have roughly the same vote scores, the number of favorites will act as a tiebreaker.
• Vazaar learns which images you've marked as a favorite and will use this information to show you images that you may like during the ranking process.

Can I easily undo a favorite?

Yep. No biggie... If you mistakenly mark an image as a favorite, just click again to undo.
