Nice capture - although this is a candid - I think it shows the person well.

A bit of advertising never hurts eh, David?

doilyboy (Martin Grey Gottlieb) said 1 year ago:

I've seen this at Chromasia and as always, you never cease to amaze.

chromasia (David Nightingale) said 1 year ago:

Thanks all :-)

uncommondepth: yes, it's an HDR.

teraisa (teraisa) said 1 year ago:

I love it!

You have to like back to back features! congrats.

CraigMartin (Craig Martin) said 1 year ago:

Thanks Kyla. Just a glimpse of what it must be like for guys like King and Vernon Trent ;-), compared to the drought I have going on over at WS.

charmarie (Char) said 1 year ago:

Very nice shot!

chaba (David Chabashvili) said 1 year ago:

great! the river looks great! i would personally prefer the snow to be white, but nevetheless the subtle toning is eye-catching!

BodhiBlink (Tom Bodhi Reeves) said 1 year ago:

Mr Seguin, nice to see ya featured right next to me! We go way back... ;) Phantastic photo, the toning is seriously out of this world. I dig.

SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) said 1 year ago:

I really love the softness of this entire scene.

lbstone (Brandon Stone) said 1 year ago:

Beautifully done. Wonderful subject.

I love how his skin tones are isolated against the dark background, etc.

zonderling (shelby koning) said 1 year ago:

I love the strength of the focal point in this picture, although the background images are sharp, the people in the background only serve to make this man stand out more than he already does! the aging gangster, the tough guy who won't back down... reminds me of my father in law (ex)... beautifully rendered photograph.

dcrphotography (Daniel) said 1 year ago:

Wow. That guy is defeinately a character. This is nice. My only comment is I wish I could see his eyes or at least an eye opposed to only seeing his eyelids. Cheers!

Great emotion and the light is perfect.

CraigMartin (Craig Martin) said 1 year ago:

Thanks for the comments guys.

SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) said 1 year ago:

Nice! The bokeh in the background works perfectly. Nicely focused and composed.

chaba (David Chabashvili) said 1 year ago:

great! for me little bit more bokeh is more appealing..the left hand looks like it does not belong to the guy..nevertheless the face, expression, light..very goog!

bslomovic (Brant Slomovic) said 1 year ago:

Congrats Craig! Three features back to back. All well deserved.

Perfect for the theme! I love the way the "industrial" element fills the frame, while the "beautiful" element provides such a stunning backdrop! Great shot.

I'm a sucker for gears, sprockets... nice shot.

forgingahead (Bob Foss) said 1 year ago:

One of my personal favs for this topic...always gets a "win" from me when I rate! Nice macro that really says "industry" and it is really beautiful too!

fabrizio (fabrizio ciannamea) said 1 year ago:

Thanks for the comment.
This shot was taken during a intersesting photo service for a company's communication.

I'm with Craig. This isn't how I pictured you, Ana. I don't know what I did think you looked like, but it wasn't this :)

Lemmingstone (Peter) said 1 year ago:

Very nice self portrait. Some great tones and a bit of mystery leave people wanting more. For those who are interested I am a very close mix of Brad Pitt, George Clooney and David Beckham. Hmm not quite.

bslomovic (Brant Slomovic) said 1 year ago:

Great intensity, great saturation and tone. Mysterious and passionate. As opposed to others, this image seems to parallel the personality I think I know from the many posts and comments here and on the WS. Really nice representation Ana.

charmarie (Char) said 1 year ago:

This picture looks very sinister and mysterious! I like it alot! The saturation is nice and really complients the picture!

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 1 year ago:

What I like about this picture is its "trashy" look: harsh light, saturated colors, hair in the face, posture, provoking eye... Punk attitude!
