Beautiful colours caught in that sky. My eyes want the boat to pop a bit, but the sky is so great not sure if it would matter.
HuubL added a critique 23 hours ago:
Yes, a beautiful, serene subject. Pity for that the top of the antenne is cut off.
GarrettHall (Garrett Hall) said 22 hours ago:
I can't make the boat pop any more without excessive noise. I did expand the shot a bit so that the antenna isn't cut off.
You can see it here:

Nice. I wonder: is he just looking down our did he fall a sleep :)
I like the refection on his glasses, the texture of his skin and the off-centered and almost fill-the-frame position of the man. Nice DOF.
I've got no comment to make this better. I really like it this way.

Thanks sfkp. Actually, I was shooting on the street and this guy stopped me and asked if I'd take his picture. I didn't like the posed shots but was lucky enough to keep shooting him while he dug out his business card to give to me so I could email him the shots.

Great shot.
I like the story as some of the most impromptu shots lead to the most interesting results!

For a candid street portrait it's quite nice. As Tamara said, the reflecting glasses are great. Pity for the distracting background though, but I realize you can't avoid it in a street shot like this.

How many bars were there originally? I would like to see the original photo. I think you did a pretty good job... especially if it's your first time.
I see one major mistake nearby the front dancer's bracelet, but only when I looked closer. And the second dancer's right wrist looks a bit weird, maybe. Fixing the right arm of the front dancer would be enough, imo.
Nice pic by the way! Very dynamic, nice bright colours. I like those trees on the background and the show lights on the ceiling.

thanks for the nice comment.. sorry I meant to link to the original.. sometimes I'm a dope :) Just 2 bars but they covered the photo.. here's the original

The cloning is not to noticeable.
You do have to realize that we cannot see it at 100% like you can.
Make sure when you clone that you are zoomed in so that differences are easily caught!
sfkp (Tamara) added a critique 1 day ago:
I only noticed the place of the horizontal bar, the vertical one was invisible for me. Still, I disagree with mikeock, becouse the cloning on the right arm of the front dancers is obvious, imo.
If you give the cloning another shot on this pic, please let me see the result. I wonder how you manage your next cloning session with our comments.

Very vivid and dynamic shot. I don't see cloning artifacts.

Actually not to bad of a job.
Cloning just takes time, patience and practice.
Very nice if this is only the second attempt!
The real trick, is to avoid having to do it!

There's a softness to this image. Great job on the 'cloning'...
Blizzard (Beef Jerky) added a critique 1 day ago:
I can actually tell where you cloned it. I looked at the original afterwards and it confirmed I was right. With cloning, beware of repeated patterns. For example, around the fur and nose areas I can see repetition in texture. Also, the bottom of the ear doesn't look quite right. I can also see cloning in the dark area on the left-hand side.
If you feel like you have to clone, then go over the sections that you did with a healing brush to break up those patterns. Though, you would have to do much more than a healing brush to reconstruct the bottom of a goat's ear.
You didn't do too bad of a job, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
(Honestly, I like the untouched version better. Next time, try to shoot around the fence to avoid unnecessary photo touch-ups. Afterall, it takes less time to wait for the goat to move for a good shot than it is to remove a fence in photoshop.)

Jessa, you've got a point by not showing the original.
I agree with Blizzard, not cloning is the most best thing to do, always try to avoid it. But if you really has to, do it invisible :)
Good luck with another photo's wich need some cloning. I hope our comments help you, you're on the right way.

I've seen your other picture with the fence. Pretty nice work I would say. I'm not a cloner myself, but I'm amazed at what can be done with it.

Realmente es una agradable fotografía, encaja perfectamene en el topic. La grandeza de las montañas y los amplios espacios, sirviendo de idela escenario para el sosegado paseo del hombre. Muy bonita. Saludos

Nice sunset Thea. Pity for the halos around the sun, but unavoidable I guess.
Thea (CA Taylor) said 1 day ago:
Thanks, I actually highlighted the halos, so perhaps not so unavoidable! lol

Wow, great shot and I'm not the only one who thinks so... This reminds me of Momo's staircase at the entrance of the Vatican museum.
