The individual components are good, but they don't quite fit tightly enough to make a strong composition. That said, I still think that has more good features than not and I do very much like the colours that you have captured (reflects good control over exposure across the frame). The longer I look, however, the more I like it overall.

I agree with the others. I would also add that the tonal range is a bit thin.

I love the colours of this shot. But I think the scene is to busy up high and a little emty in the lower part. The flowers and flag don't fit together. However the background in the lower part is busy too, I don't know where too look. My brains know the flowers and it's stem is the actual subject, my eyes want to look to elswhere.
I like the composition of the three flowers in a row and rising from down to high. Maybe it is an idea to choose an angle so you can just photograph the row of flowers with only a blue sky behind it, instead of other subjects. Use of DOF with only the flowers in focus, is another posibility.
