Very cool subject. But very "documentary" framing, if that's what you were going for, then you did well. This just looks like something you could have explored a bit to find more drama/interest. I find little bits that are interesting, but as a whole it looses me pretty quickly. My fav part is the little air conditioner(?) unit under the stairs.

IMHO perfectly seen and composed. Looks just great. You may even crop out the bottom strip of ground and it will be a winner. Congratulations.

Two industrial towers. They were still in construction. I don't know for what the purpose is of them. Anyone any ideas?
On my photo blog I give some personal thoughts about HDR together with three tone mapped versions of one HDR picture.

No, I did not add this photo to Beautiful Industrial accidental. A windwill is industry too, especialy in history. Windmills, and later on fabrics, made this region prosperous. The windmill and the fabrics together makes this photo very characteristic for this region (the 'Zaanstreek').
The fabric on the background on the right makes cacao... but if you live here you hardly sense it :)

I like the tone and the point of view, the sky is just great.
If you have the RAW file, why don't you try to work on the underexposed part? Just develop the RAW adding +1EV and add it as second layer, cutting the part of the photo which is correctly exposed.

Love the look and feel of this shot. The perspective is nice, except maybe too much of the overpass. Nice effect.

Thank you so much for the feature and advised comments. They're all much appreciated!
Did try something in the spirit of a dark comic strip !

Nice shot, but a little heavy on the right side - compositionally speaking.
Best,
Jon

"psychedelic camouflage" is a good way to describe this building. I felt the stairs, doors and stairway supports added a bit of stability to the confusion of colors. I'm glad you like the overall effect. :)
