It's a nice capture, I find it too bad that the lighting and contrast are so neutral.

you captured the theme of this topic perfectly. Not exactly sure what I am looking at, but love looking at it anyway. In anything other than B&W would not have done this photo justice.

thanks for the critiques. This is a wine bottling machine that can bottle up to 16,000 bottles an hour. Now that's a lot of wine!

wow. this one is breathtaking. i like the silhouettes, the doublelight and the lines 'cut' the sun in the sky. beautiful!

A wonderful industrial b&w image. The light competes with the cranes for my attention, but it seems to elevate the whole picture rather than conflict. Well done.

Very nice and shiny. I like how the sun is cut by the contrails.

The sky is amazing, but I'm not sure about the framing, I would like to see more of that smoke.
Maybe putting the whole building a little bit lower and on the left would have worked, maybe...
But still, that sky is amazing ;)
Michael (Michael Bakker) said 1 year ago:
@Chino, I think you're right about the framing. Took this photo riding in a car. So it was just in a few seconds when past by. But you're suggesting about the crop is a good one, I'm gonna try it! Thankz for you're comment.

I got a few good shots from this particular Power Station, which is wierdly enough right next to a little allotment colony just on the outskirts of Oslo.

What a great shot - reminds me of gursky, but more industrial!
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) said 1 year ago:
Thanks, Jenine. I love your username btw! Gursky is on a bit larger scale, of course, but thanks for the compliment. Any reference to an established photgrapher is always swells the heart a little!

I like the colors, but find the subject presented in snapshot way.

Nice shot Tiffany. I wish the front of the train was in focus, but good subject.
zenith9 (Bob and Jeannie) added a critique 1 year ago:
It is a nice shot but i would have preferred it if you used a slower shutter speed to give more sensation of movement. With those colours that would have looked great.
odon (Odon Dias) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice lighting, it makes the colors better. Try a right angle against the train to get focus.
Sher (Sher Hilliard) added a critique 1 year ago:
Fantasic colors, love the yellow. I also would like to have seen the entire subject with the front in better focus. I do think the subject is great and conveys a great message.
Great panorama! I like it.
