Love the expression. Looks like he's never seen that much money before!
kitaoka (Mark Kitaoka) said 1 month ago:
Thanks Heath, yup it seems like he owns the world, doesn't it?

Fantastic expressive lighting,- yeah, and the world needs money, doesn't it..!?!
kitaoka (Mark Kitaoka) said 1 month ago:
Money, damn money! What would we do if there were no money or its equivalent? Interesting question...

Awwww! Cute. The guy is trying to contribute to a better world.
The woman's head at te left would I have cropped away. The blond woman on the left is enough to make a contra-statement. By looking away it seems she thinks: silly naieve man, leave me alone and go away, please act normal. Well... I suppose that's just my interpretation. :)

By 'blond woman on the left', I ment 'blond woman on the right'. Sorry.
gazdi (Csaba Bobák) said 1 month ago:
I think that blonde adds to the picture. She does so by just hogging (no pun meant) and looking away.

Very clever point of view! I'd crop the two on the right but still this is nice. Grats.

I'm not so certain about the composition. To me, it seems that she is just asking for some money as an off hand thing, whilst she was passing by. I think if she was walking towards the middle of the frame, it would be a more striking picture.

Very good photo, interesting composition. I think the women would make a very interesting photo, maybe more of a close-up on her face. Good job though!!

Great shot, and a good idea to post to this topic.
nfds (Notes From Different Spots) said 2 months ago:
There's certainly money in THIS.
Congratulations on your idea :)
And it's a very interesting shot, too! I like the way how the poppies fade due to the shallow depth of field. Gives you the impression how many there're.

I find the blurred big ones in the foreground really disturbing though.

I like the idea of this shot and the lighting that you have used. It seems to set the mood very well, as does the eye contact being made by the "topless" player.

Very original idea for this category. Very moving and wonderful photo. This capture inspires in me a desire to give more than I am giving to our global community. Well done, my friend.
Best to you and yours,
Jon

I would have been tempted to convert this to b&w, but I am glad you have presented as is because it is a very strong image. I agree with the above comments and commend you on a very sensitive treatment of the subject (I particularly like the engagement with the subject's eyes). Bravo!
