Thanks Jon, this one was taken very long back, when i was totally clueless about shooting with an slr. It lacks sharpness coz of the noise plus the structure of the flower. Was playing around with ISO settings, thats how the noise crept in, very careless of me.

Very unusual take on this kind of shot. The highlights are a little blown out, but I am sure this was by design. I love the green in the lower left. The comp. is a bit atypical as well - I would like to have seen a bit more room given on the left side. What is the strange yellow cresent at the top center of the photo in the background? Nice effort.

it is a Griffon Vulture, a scavenger of Europe, Africa and Asia.

Great picture, the contrast of colours vivid blue with pumpkin orange. The reflection of the flower on the wall ,blends this to be a really good photo!!
