This is stunning.
TammyLynn (Tammy) said 5 months ago:
Thank you Ana.
The original image was taken in B/W format and literally straight out of the camera (as they took the cards) won me first place in a portrait competition and a £1700 Olympus E-3 with a 14-54mm 2.8 lens. :-D

This is a black and white??????
TammyLynn (Tammy) said 5 months ago:
The original was shot in black and white, but it was shot on a digital SLR on the mono setting and saved in RAW format...so the colour was recored and I was able to access and use it.

Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining!

An old 1 room school house close to where I live. Unfortunately it burned to the ground this past winter and is now lost.

Nice work. This image is very haunting and reflective. The many layers make one stop and think; and question the meanings behind it.

Just experimenting. Maybe Vazaar's visitores think it's overdone, but I like the effect. Btw, it's my little sister (17 years old and 20 centimeters longer then I am).

Two photos on this one. The first was a shot of a model that I have of the Enterprise, the 2nd is a straight shot of the moon I took one night. Was just playing around with Photoshop and I hit on this.
koo88 said 6 months ago:
Scott,
How do you capture such a clear picture of the moon. Is it the type of lense or camera that you use? The clarity and detail is fantastic.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 6 months ago:
thanks koo88. I had to dig back through my files, that's how old this shot was. The moon itself is actually 4 images shot with an old D100 mounted to a 12" telescope. I then recombined the images into 1 and created the black background. The original image is over 60mb in size and has amazing detail.
Just experimenting. Feel free to say you don't like it (but be a bit nice to me :)
I uploaded another versions of this photo before, twice:
