Never use standart PS filters!

Sorry but I don't really like what you've done here. I know it's a photo manipulation but it's more distorted then anything else. Maybe a lighter effect would be more visually pleasing.

very bright and colourful.

I like it too.
As Ryan asked, I also wish you could give some explanations.

Thanks for your comments.
It is a HDR image obtained from a raw file.
The scene was very contrasted, so I obtained various images with diferent expositions to give detail in lights and shadows. I mixed them increasing micro contrast and I got it.
misu (Mikhail Palinchak) said 6 months ago:
Exelent HDR. My congratulations with feature ;)
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 6 months ago:
I'm gonna be different here. I still cannot get myself to like these "obvious" HDR images. I have seen some very tasteful stuff done with HDR, but this to me just looks bizarre! Sorry, but honest...

Batman! I love it. The moon is spot on in the middle but for a change, that actually works. The position of the bats is great. Good job!
athamanass (thanos) said 10 months ago:
I agree about placing the moon in the middle, looks great. And square format helps a lot in that.

Such a great image! It's so dramatic, I agree that it could definitely be a movie poster!!
UrsoBranco (Urso Branco) said 9 months ago:
This looks like a poster for a Hitchcock film. It reminds me of "The Birds".
Very Dramatic!

Done at work for a promo for "American Gladiators" on NBC. He's leaning forward and walking. From the same shoot as:

I totally saw this commercial last night.
lotr_n1 (Nathan Hauser) said 6 months ago:
wow. interesting. the muted colors make it more intense. did you actually get the shot of the city- if so, that rocks!
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 6 months ago:
This is a frame out of a NBC promo for American Gladiators that I worked on as Visual Effects Supervisor. This particular backplate is a helicopter shot, so no, I did not shoot that, but the Gladiator I did and the composite work is mine. We also replaced the sky.
The whole spot is on my blog along with some other examples of my professional work:

Noah,
Thanks very much - that happens to be popcorn. Some kids were playing on the front stoop and this was left over from a popcorn break that they were taking - one wildflower and a handful of popcorn.
Best,
Jon

nice color, I think compositionally though it is a little lacking
jvgphoto (jon van gilder) said 7 months ago:
Thanks for your comment. Would you consider sharing with me what is lacking compositionally - just curious. Thanks in advance.
Best,
Jon

chromadreams (David) said 7 months ago:
so good, I'm with Ana, i were looking for some mistake there but it isn't anything wrong, so great.
ple (ferry kana) said 7 months ago:
there is some mistake from the human shadow, specially in front of his face :)but i like the idea
Neuner said 7 months ago:
I like the idea to, but the shadow on him I feel is incorrect. If you look at the extinguisher there are two shadows from two stronger light sources. The strongest or more direct is from the upper left and the less is from the upper right. Both lights can be seen in the reflection of the top of the extinguisher. The man only shows one shadow that would come from a light to the back right. Under his shoe the shadow is shown better from the extinguishers light source.

I just couldn't resisted, this photo wasn't edited on Photoshop or anything like this (other than a tiny crop for the sides), it was left just the way it was taken.
Heath (Heath Carney) said 7 months ago:
This would have been more effective if you cloned out her shadow.
a cartoony affect almost. I like!
