I like your photo, but the sky looks very unreal and unnatural to me. Did you photoshop that? It looks like it is.
However the topic is 'soltitude' and for that reason it's nice to have some distance to the main topic (the cabin) but I think I would prefer a shot which is more zoomed in.

I love outhouse pics...I might have cropped out the area to the right of the outhouse. Great find
susiej (Susie Janowski) said 2 months ago:
The sky is natural. I don't use photoshop. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like the colours and effect that you have achieved with this shot. Hampshire might be right, in a topic of "solitude" you might be able to push the outhouse (it could be a "dunny" here in Australia) closer to the edge of the frame, but this is minor. Well done.

Well done. Amazing sky and good composition. Thanks for sharing and fits the topic very well.

I am not sure about this photo being included under the topic "beach", but it does a great job of capturing solitude.
juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 3 months ago:
Muchas gracias por su comentario Jim, entiendo lo que dice en cuanto que no está seguro que esta foto pueda entrar en el topic de Beach, quiza tenga razon, pero créame que este pequeño barco está muy cerca de la playa apenas unos metros, considero que es una imagen típica playera, por eso decidí incluirlo en el topic. No obstante si se considera que no debe estar en dicho topic, no tendría ningun inconveniente en retirarla inmediatamente. Saludos

Very, very good... A strong image indeed, I love it.
The light, in spite of the very dark tones, is incredible.
According to the first feeling I had when I saw it, I think it would also fit for the "Solitude" topic.
Congratulations, Sharon.

Thanks so much! I will indeed add this image to the "Solitude" topic.

Preciosa y emotiva composicion. La luz frontal hace que el sujeto alcance toda su grandeza. El angulo de toma abre el camino a la imaginacion. Enhorabuena. Saludos

A beautiful light captured here.
I like very much the large space above the man, which makes him seem so small in front of Nature.

Nice shot. Just finished watching the show "Lost" and this could be the main character Jack walking down the beach. hahaha, just shows how TV plays with our minds. Again, a nice image.

Heartbreaking! Makes you feel she heard something that devasted her.
Hello Juan,
Interesting! This can be viewed many ways but for me it reminds me of "The Solitary Man." Funny part is I cannot tell if the silhouette is that of a man or woman. I think that of a man.
Great capture, has a science fiction look to it. Thanks for sharing it my friend.
