I agree that the lighting is quite dramatic, but I think it detracts from the overall image, drawing one's eye away from from the solitude/isolation/intensity of the photographer which is- I believe- the most evocative aspect of this image.

Thanks all. This was taken at sunset in the Sur-Lipez Bolivian desert, near the Laguna Colorada, more than 4000m high. The photographer is a friend setting up his medium-format camera.

very beautiful picture but it's seems to me that the bottom of the photo is not so interesting maybe i'd crop a bit but that's said it's still a very good shot

Very beautiful and stirring photography once again, Alexandre. The lighting is extremely dramatic and the comp. gently leads the eye to the photographer who is busy in his work. Well done! Best, Jon
