Thanks very much for the comments guys, greatly appreciated :)
lomoseb, i used a 10 stop ND filter here to get the movement in the clouds.

I like this a lot but I would like to add: Put something living inside....and this image would be even better....:)
AngryBuddha (Sean Bailey) added a critique 1 year ago:
Fantastic shot! Very surreal.
riesenriel (riesenriel) added a critique 1 year ago:
The angle is brillant used, gives great perspective lines! The moving clouds are a nice detail for this composition.

Psychodudu.....thanks for hint about Arno Minkinnen which I did not know yet. He has very interesting pictures!!

You're welcome, Jens. Did you see what I meant? Just the feel, the vibe of the image is very similar.

three "duo's"
:-))
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) said 1 year ago:
Yeah, this is cool, multiple duos. Groovy, and well composed.
Jens (Jens Hoffmann) said 1 year ago:
Thx a lot ;)
I had a hard time to decide where to post this. Duo or low down and finally have chosen the triple relevance....:D
taikrixel (thomas mueller) said 1 year ago:
the duo theme works much better, because of the triple.
well composed like ice in the sunshine...

"I've been in this business for fifteen years. If people have a problem and don't wanna talk to the police, they wanna talk to me."
As have been mentioned, you really feel a detective short story vibe here. Great lighting. Personally I really like that the right eye is barely visible, but still hidden.

fantastic shot, I really like this one.

The light on the drum accentuates it perfectly.

It is a symmetry of the outfit but I think some people will not see this here....;)
For me this shot is one of my favorites from your work!!
VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) said 1 year ago:
symetry on the upper part
then die diagonal lines
then the hats
lots of symetric elements
good.
;-)
ArneG (Arne Gulstene) said 1 year ago:
This isn't one of those shots thats going to poke you in the eye with the symmetry - you gotta work for it.
taikrixel (thomas mueller) added a critique 1 year ago:
i like the image very much, because of the unknown things in the bg. and the symetric elements are nice composed.
bokeh-junior (Ed Simons) added a critique 1 year ago:
No symmetry for me but I like the way the men are looking out to something that I can't see. I get the feeling that they are on top of a skyscraper. There is just enough detail in the side of the face to make it a good shot.

This is an amazing shot. The depth and details is great, and really well done. The tone of the image is also very good.
aldamir (di Carlo Darsa sandro) said 1 year ago:
nice B&W
it could be good to see more of this building :)
why is it a square crop?
Jens (Jens Hoffmann) said 1 year ago:
Thx!
The format is that of the Hasselblad which uses film and produces 6x6 cm images...:)
aldamir (di Carlo Darsa sandro) said 1 year ago:
happy to read it :)
and I add that this is a great scan too !
AngryBuddha (Sean Bailey) said 1 year ago:
This is probably something I've seen a hundred times and never gave it a second thought. Nicely captured.
I am glad this picture is being featured, as I like it very much. Congratulations.
