Hi Jean, we meet again ;-) This photo is beautiful, the only thing is I would like to see more of this old man, parts of his lower hands perhaps. He seems to have a story ready to tell.

Using paper to my screen cropping, I find the picture more focused on the model if I eliminate the blue sky and orange rooftop. The blue sky is a distraction away from the model and the tilted roof line makes me dwell on elements other than the model. Great DOF. eliminating the blue gives you a 'stairway' up while he is pondering down.

There is a cinematic quality to this shot that I really like. The DOF is perfect here to my eye, although in order to keep the pattern and repetition of the building so that it is not a distraction to your subject, I would remove the blue sky as I find it is a bit of a distraction.

I agree with the above mentioned, but also I want to add one thing, maybe it had been better if you have choose a sqare format than this one.

I think it's great.....good DOF! But i would have to agree about the blue sky.
