Wow, great shot and I'm not the only one who thinks so... This reminds me of Momo's staircase at the entrance of the Vatican museum.

Good shot. Minor distraction is the white car behind the tram.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 1 day ago:
Thanks HuubL, you caught me still online :) I tried to clone that car out but to no avail, stuck with it hahaha :( Just couldn't convincingly get rid of it.

This nearly perfect execution lacks context in my eyes: what are they laughing at? Even the slightest hint woul be useful.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 1 month ago:
Fedor, if there was a place to put an image title you'd have seen "Out of the Mouth of Babes". I think that would give it the context, or maybe look at the picture a bit longer and you'll see the kid explaining something and dad chuckling at it. Thanks.
soreks (Fedor Soreks) said 1 month ago:
Scott, looking closer, I can see now that the girl's expression is actually not a laughter. Thanks for explaining.

Great post-processing; on a composition side, I'd mention the half-cropped barrel and a wedge-like (what is it? saddle?) as distractions.

I find the sky to be a serious distraction. Why does every sky in every photo have to be dramatic and surreal?
I do like the composition quite a bit.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 2 months ago:
Thanks Willie, as to the surreal, this image WAS processed to be surreal. So I guess it worked.
Willie, my style is one where I like the skies to have detail so I do expose my images for the sky mostly. Like some people use leading lines, I like to use they sky. Just my way of doing things.
Thanks again for your thoughts.

Wow. Spectacular shot, and thanks all for the great tutorial. I have yet to play with HDR, but this prompts me further to go explore it.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 2 months ago:
Thanks Craig! If you get stuck feel free to e-mail any questions my way. Lots of good links out there on how to do this properly.

Very pretty but a little too dark for me

Beautiful seascape/sunset shot. HDR seems very popular lately and therefore, for me it quickly looses its appeal. However, landscapes like this really gain from a modest use of the technique.
7 exposures taken at Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda.
