Very tasteful use of HDR, most of what I see is not attractive to me at all. But, this is gorgeous. What software do you use? I have Photomatix and love their tone mapping, but have lately been using Photshop CS3 for creating the initial 32 bit image. To me their alignment tools work much better for hand-held stuff. I guess this was off a tripod, right?

Hi Clyde and thanks for the comment. This was done using Photomatix but do try and keep the levels down a bit to a more realistic look. This actually was shot handheld without a tripod. Not something I normally do but it was so cold that morning, I just took the shot and ran. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Gotta love the continuous shot on the D200, took less the 2 secs to snap.

A 9 exposure HDR image taken on a very cold morning in Morrisburg Ontario Canada. The stream was rising off the water as the sun rose.
