Wow! Great colors and fabulous sky! Very surreal looking!I like that you took it from a very low position.

Good choice of a post processing, very appealing.

Yes, great use of technik. Colors are great. But I thing smth is missing here :( Composition also isn't perfect!

Very nice shot.
The post processing makes it appear as HDR.
Great low angle to really draw the viewer into the shot!
Wonderful lighting to accentuate this subject!

ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 6 months ago:

Thanks Mike, it is actually an HDR image, but I did trying and keep it toned down a bit.

Mikhail, could you please explain why the composition isn't perfect? What's your opinion on what's wrong? As well, what's missing?

misu (Mikhail Palinchak) added a critique 6 months ago:

My english isn't so good to write and explaine all what I think. About composition: may be it would be better if bridge wasn't on the canter of the photo or it would be better if the point of shot wasn't so low.

And as I say exelent technik but I think photo is missing smth., for example some lady standing on the bridge and lookin' down or far away!

No worries about your english Mikhail, I can normally figure out what your saying. Actually the point of this image was to center the composition, I wanted the equal dimensions on each side, same for the low angle. No worries just different views on how to present. As for people in my images, I normally don't do that as I am a Landscape photographer and do not typically shoot people. So very rare that you will ever see a model or someone posing in my images. Although I'm slowly working towards it ;-) Thanks again.

I find the sky to be a serious distraction. Why does every sky in every photo have to be dramatic and surreal?

I do like the composition quite a bit.

ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 5 months ago:

Thanks Willie, as to the surreal, this image WAS processed to be surreal. So I guess it worked.

Willie, my style is one where I like the skies to have detail so I do expose my images for the sky mostly. Like some people use leading lines, I like to use they sky. Just my way of doing things.

Thanks again for your thoughts.
