It is calming and asks lots of the viewer: I have no idea of the scale or the subject so I look all over trying to get it, and all the time liking it.

wow, I'm glad you like this a lot. is one of my favs taken in 2006.
taken with hasselblad 503cw and a planar 80mm 2.8 on slide film medium format (orwo 400 b/w expired 1983)

this is a plate from a monument in düsseldorf, germany. the lens used: 85mm 1,2 L fully open. an amazing lens :)
