hm - i like this portrait a lot, vernon, so what can i say. well, there's one thing i find a bit strange: look at her right eye. am i the only one for whom she seems to be kind of cross-eyed? her pupil is set to the very right corner of her eye which looks a bit weird for me.
(i think this constructive criticism feature is a great addition to vazaar. thanks, brandon. great work.)

because of the compression from 4000px to 700px, the "highlight" on one eye "disappeared". that's the reason it has the look like you said "cross-eyed". it was my first impression as well, but I looked on the print (39x39 cm) and it looks fine with both "flashlights" in the eyes.

Terrific shot. Is she a model, a friend, both, neither? By the way, the English term for "flashlights" is "catch lights" :-)
