What a very nice composition. First I thought you were somewhere ... but than I saw the bag, so I think, you were window shopping. Thanks for allowing us to join you in such a beautiful way.

Thank you... I only captured somebody else's creativity. The shot was taken around midnight, for the low light setting :-)

What kind of flower is this? It has so many beautiful little details and looks like a real natural beauty. Great work.
Viper (Dan McMurray) said 1 year ago:
In all honesty Sabine, I have no idea what flower this is. I just appreciated it's complexity, symmetry and beauty :)

A place to stay - or at least of place to dream of. Very nice image.

Sabine... that spot is in North Bay, Ontario Canada. Beautiful, peaceful and often the site of spectacular sunsets. Thank the Creator... I just captured his handiwork :-)

It sure is orange !
Makes me think of being a little kid and playing in the sand.
Sure wish I had one of them. I would have OWNED the sandbox!
Nice shot-well balanced composition and nice shutter speed/aperture choice to freeze action and yet still maintain DOF front to back.

Neat image!

Lea, it's an umbrella that's over a picnic table at a local snack bar/chip wagon. I just couldn't resist when I saw it. It was angled and the evening sun was shining through it slightly.

Oh wow, I was born on March 5th, no lie. And here in Europe we write it that way: 05.03.19.. uhm. I like all those golden colors. Did you use a flash?
Viper (Dan McMurray) said 1 year ago:
Yes, I used a flash in this one. I was actually photographing a fireworks display and was heading home when I saw her sitting in a field close to where I had set up. It was just a silhouette in the dark. Beautiful, isn't she? :-) Very coy on the year BTW, lol. (19... uhm) The suffix for that one is 58 for me.
paddlepunk (Holger Neu) said 1 year ago:
wow... i think it would even look better if you made it black and white ;)
Viper (Dan McMurray) said 1 year ago:
Thanx paddle punk. I considered black and white but decided on the color. I thought the gold gave it a warmer feeling, but then again, it's always a matter of personal preference :)

What an interesting still life composition. It seems very peaceful. It is well captured for low light; it provides a nice tone and quiet quality to the image.
