Hello Joan,
This is a really artistic rendering. I love the dreamy look to the photo. Just goes to show that a silhouette can be used to capture beauty. Nice work.

The colors of the water and sky are beautifully captured. A perfect place to watch the sun set/rise.
adevrx (dev) said 1 year ago:
Thanks. I thought so, too. Nothing better than a good sunrise.

I love this image because it tells a simple story with a big blue and white sky as a backdrop. Nice job.

if you startle a tortoise by picking it up, it loses it's water reserves which is almost certainly fatal in dry spells like they're having this year.
so we were careful to look and not touch.
this was the second of two tortoises we saw during our mojave desert trip this summer.
he was set on crossing the road so we stood back and ensured that cars would see us and slow down.
thanks for the comments :)

What a perfect shot! I love the composition - the turtle is perfectly placed, the DOF, and the yellow line leading you into the shot. Excellent job!

I prefer this one with the preceding one (which is besides in a deserved way featured) Cheer. Greetings.
MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:
Obviously these are the same stairs than on the last pic you posted, and I agree with Eric, I also think that this one is much better.
On the previous one, in my opinion the neon light was disturbing.
This one is better orientated, very well framed, and the (almost) square format really fits.
Congrats !

Wonderful shot. Would work well in repetition too. I'm glad it's looking up and not down.

Thanks for the comments everyone. For those that are wondering it's a motion blur of a canola field (and sky) on a summer evening.
