Sorry Sharon, I cannot understand "chaeting" :(
But if you mean "disturbing", no, there is no problem at all with me. The result is just beautiful this way, so congratulations to you, and I really do not care if you had to use Photoshop to achieve it.
I've always regarded postprocessing as the final and personal touch that everyone can give to one's production, exactly like photographers did before in the darkroom.

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 5 months ago:

Oh Martine, my apologies! That was a typo! What I meant to say was 'cheating'.

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 3 months ago:

I agree 100%. The effect only becomes a problem when it's too heavy, or not justified. It works perfecly, here (and I like your other pictures, too...)

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 3 months ago:

philippe, thanks so much! I do at times try to push things, but hopefully not too far :)
Cheers to you!

Nice capture, they sure are interested in you. Very good capture. I might have "punched" the tonal range a bit.

cushmok added a critique 4 months ago:

bravo ! très belle image bien en relation avec le thème !

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) added a critique 4 months ago:

Oh...this is really such an amazing capture! The artwork as a backdrop for these children works wonderfully. It's as though they have escaped a nightmare, and are completely unscathed. If I were to do it differently, I wouldn't change a thing :)

stilfoto (Stefan Nielsen) added a critique 3 months ago:

A great capture indeed - a pcure I can look at for a long time...
The children are perfectly placed in the frame and doing it in B&W was the right choice. The only minor thing I might have done differently is crop out the door on the left - but as I said: It's a minor thing. All in all it's a great picture.

sambhara (Michael Bogdan) added a critique 2 months ago:

I don't know which i like best; the children or the art work. One thing is for sure; they go great together...

Good shot. Minor distraction is the white car behind the tram.

ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 3 months ago:

Thanks HuubL, you caught me still online :) I tried to clone that car out but to no avail, stuck with it hahaha :( Just couldn't convincingly get rid of it.

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 2 months ago:

This is brilliant!

op_perrin (Olivier Perrin) said 2 months ago:

belle photo, avec ces deux tramways (dommage la voiture blanche derrière, qui attire trop l'œil, mais pour avoir les deux trams en même temps, tu n'avais pas le choix). Voila une photo qui représente bien l'image que l'on se fait de SF.

I really like your perspective and vantage point. The softness of this photograph, so inviting.

MMeye (Martine) said 5 months ago:

Thank you very much to you all :)

lotr_n1 (Nathan Hauser) said 3 months ago:

MMeye (Martine) said 3 months ago:

Thank you Nathan :)
I have blurred a little the background.

Variation of a photograph already presented according to the idea of Didier ;)
Thank you for the preceding comments:)

MMeye (Martine) said 9 months ago:

I can't really see differences with the former version (which probably means that I was not disturbed with the dots).
In my opinion, the framing and colors are excellent, very well done Eric.

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 6 months ago:

You know, this is striking, no matter which way you look at it. As a thumbnail it jumps out at you and as a larger version, draws you right in.
The colour is sublime!

Wow strong image! Excellent diagonal composition. That blue bites!

:) Great minds.

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 3 months ago:

This is so funny! We made the same photo! I'm sure I have seen yours at the time you send it to WS, but I had no memory of it, believe it or not. Maybe somewhere in the subconscious mind... Thanks for the reminder :o)

JimiThing (Jim Machajewski) said 3 months ago:

Yes, but you had far better lighting than I did. The clouds make all the difference in the world. Well done.

philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 3 months ago:

You are too kind :o)

bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 3 months ago:

Is this for real?
I'm amazed...incredible capture!
