Oh Martine, my apologies! That was a typo! What I meant to say was 'cheating'.

I agree 100%. The effect only becomes a problem when it's too heavy, or not justified. It works perfecly, here (and I like your other pictures, too...)

philippe, thanks so much! I do at times try to push things, but hopefully not too far :)
Cheers to you!

Otra preciosa fotografía donde las sombras, y solo ellas, nos hablan de vida, movimiento...
Enhorabuena. Saludos

great subject, you can crop a bit the bottom to have an horizon less centered.

I love this photograph a lot. I thing that you use an "orton effect" and that make a very good feel in this. Bravo ;)
bluechameleon (Sharon Wish) said 5 months ago:
Thanks very much Eric. Yes, I did use a blurred effect in post processing, but it was helpful that there was already movement in the shot :)
Cheers!
juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 5 months ago:
Coincido con Eric, pero creo que ademas del tratamiento empleado y el movimiento, juega a favor de la composición el angulo de toma. Creo que usted a sabido utilizar los elementos para conseguir una muy buena composición a mi manera de entender. Enhorabuena y saludos.

Thanks so much! I am especially pleased as this was one of the first shots I took when I got my holga!
Sorry Sharon, I cannot understand "chaeting" :(
But if you mean "disturbing", no, there is no problem at all with me. The result is just beautiful this way, so congratulations to you, and I really do not care if you had to use Photoshop to achieve it.
I've always regarded postprocessing as the final and personal touch that everyone can give to one's production, exactly like photographers did before in the darkroom.
