belle photo, juste c'est bĂȘte que le fond soit si clair, je trouve qu'il mange la fleur, ce qui fait que cela rend la photo moins lisible.

I don't know... but something isn't right. It feels a bit weird. The flowers are in the shade, but still they look a bit over-exposed?
The statue deffinetly doesn't add something to the scene, that's for sure. Another angle, so that the statue doesn't 'touch' the roses would be better. A square crop would help also.

Overall, it's a good subject to make photo's of it, nice low sun light. The scene does have potention!

Beautiful in black and white. Try a different angle and even lighting like Tamara said. Go back and shoot some more if you can!

I def like this photo in b&w. It brings out the soft texture of the flowers. Maybe if you moved to the left and had more of the bush in the background, maybe that would help. Beautiful capture!

They seem to be right Boyd, this one needs a bit of re-framing. The statue and the flowers blend together in an awkward way. A couple of steps to your left and re-shoot... go there today please! lol

Thanks for your comments everyone. It has given me some great tips for future. Might not get back there in a hurry, was shot on a weekend away in a Queensland country town (Toowoomba). Composition was difficult because I was shooting through a gap in the fence and experimenting with a new (to me!) camera.
