The colors were indeed a little bit saturated (maybe too much looking back at it) during processing.
This shot was hand-held: I don't think tripods were allowed and I didn't have one anyway. This also explains the softness.
This amazingly beautiful church is the basilique Notre Dame in Montreal.

I don't think you saturated it too much actually. The colors are what I like about this. It's such a nice change compared to the typically dark and gloomy cathedral.

Amazing colours, this is a beautiful shot. Did you saturate during PP? Or do the colours come from long exposition? And where is this church located?
Also seems a bit soft to me, but I can't really judge at this resolution.
