ok, as we say here in Spain, kitchen listened! =), thanks for the critique, and I'm going to apply what you say, maybe you're so right but I needed someone to give his/her opinion about the "second face", thanks again.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 1 year ago:

Ditto, above, plus: If she moved her left hand up just an inch, we would see more of it and it would close off the blue space between her hand and chin, which is a little distracting for me..

dcannaday added a critique 1 year ago:

Personally, I like the repeat of the face.. Not something you see very often. I really like it.

marcouet52 (Mario Arcouette) added a critique 1 year ago:

Personnaly i dont think it apply to the theme,
unless we want to see another theme "the spirit within us".
Otherwise the portrait would have been very nice by itself.
But dont loose that idea it could bring more approach
Thanks

Yes, I like this. The whispy clouds look like faint brushstrokes of white paint on a blue background. The plane doesn't matter, but is an interesting add-on.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 1 year ago:

Yeah, I like this too.

chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:

thanks for your comments

chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:

well I want to say something about the plane, it really matter 'cause the composition is called "dreams of flying" and is dedicated to my brother who is a part of a plane crew, =).
thanks again for the comments.

Great lawn, 3 Topics....? Maybe send it to Scott's too...

chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:

Ok Clyde ;-), it's not a lawn, it's rice field.
I think that it fits at all at the 3 topics, one for the green one because obvious reasons, one for "DOF" playing with the rice seeds and the last here 'cause of the size of the rice fields.
really everybody has to see the Valencia's rice fields in this season of the year, really them are "the fields of joy" (well maybe not for the farmer because of the work, :-))) ).
Thanks for the comment.

Nice capture. I very much like the composition and tones of this. Too much vignetting for my taste, though... Or rather to strong.

mysight (Carl H. Sr.) added a critique 1 year ago:

Oh,I can't believe I drank the whole thing!
My only complaint is,what happened to the upper corners? I still like this though.

chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:

First of all, thanks for the critiques.
Ok, there's vignetting in the four corners, not only in the upper ones, I wanted it 'cause I think that it fit well in this composition as the horizontal lines that the composition has too (they are la little bit soft, but visible).
I think it gives a kind of "vintage" atmosphere, but not so much to put it at that topic.
Thanks again for the critiques.

in your face...and very cute! looks like that wind is causing a "bad hair day" for the dog :)

I'm not usually a fan of pet pictures, but this is pretty good. Caught my eye for sure. I really enjoy the colors in this. Nice job

UnieX (Carlos Crooks) added a critique 1 year ago:

Great capture. I love the emphasis on the blues.

I love this picture. Great job!

I like how the focus is on the sand, not the dog. Good colours too.

GinaMoe (Virginia Byers) added a critique 1 year ago:

This images is to washed out. All that is readable is the BMW logo. Not sure if that is waht you were going for?

Lemmingstone (Peter) added a critique 1 year ago:

Howdy David. I really like the type of effect you are going for here. I love the high contrast/desaturated feel but I think that it perhaps doesn't work so well here because of the large amount of sky? The bottom half of the shot is better than the entire image. But I do like the effect.

chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:

thanks for the comments.

Virginia, I can see almost everything, my intention was to was out the colours and tainted them into a soft blue atmospgere, but not to was out everything, I can see the ship shape so well and the ships at the background, and so on, so maybe my screen is not so well calibrated, maybe mine or maybe yours, even maybe both of them and that's why we see diferent things.

Peter, the large amount of the sky is because of ship's mast, but maybe you're right, with a little less of sky it would be better.

thanks again to both of you.

dontpanic added a critique 1 year ago:

i agree, the desat/high contrast feel is really nice, but i think the bottom half of the frame is too busy and the top half too empty. Also, i didn't find the way the subject has been framed too engaging....

Topher (Christopher Mueller) added a critique 1 year ago:

Frankly I just don't know what to look at here. If anything I like how little saturation there is, but like 'dontpanic' I don't see anything here pulling me in. Maybe it's that nothing here is complete; nothing is staying in-frame. The detail is good and complimented by the tone, but if the boat filled the frame, or even a focus on the bow...
