I like the photo and as always the beach is beautiful. You make me want to move:) The only thing I don't like is the bike seems a bit busy. Are there two bikes there with sandals? I guess my thinking would be to have just one to keep it simple. But I like how you cropped it out. Beautiful scene.
chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:
yes they are with the sandals, the bicycles were there and I did the photo to them as I could on that moment

I like the blue in this.. very nice... I don't think the use of telephoto "compressing" lens has helped capture the sandals and bikes as well as wider angle would have.. if you had gotten closer with a wider lens it would have made the sandals and bikes less "busy" as someone noted it.

thanks Findo, I guess so, but the bikes where a little far from me, so I needed telephoto to do it

Thanks Ron, I made that crop while i was editing the image, I thought it would be better this way.

I too love the crop. It's almost as if you're about to be run over if you don't get out of the way....lol The tones you used give it a timeless feel:)

I love this. I probably would have cropped it slightly wider (to include the nose) but I am a big fan of only showing half a face. There is such warmth in this photo. I feel like I could scoop him up in my arms and give him a hug :)
I would be tempted to add in a touch of chocolate colour but this is an amazing photo as it stands. Well done!

The crop is nice, seems the kid runs away from you and you captured it right on time. Lovely portrait.

thanks riensenriel

I like how you captured the sun right in between them. Just the right amount of lighting. Nice exposure:)
vanessapr (Vanessa Pike-Russell) added a critique 1 year ago:
very nice - although I feel the sun light removes the shape of the mouth I do love the warmth of this. Great photo!

It is a very nice photo. I like the motive and the composition

thanks for all your comments.
Vanessa, It's true that the sun removes the shape of the mouth, but... what can be done against that?
riesenriel (riesenriel) added a critique 1 year ago:
Wonderful family moment captured with this sunlight between them.

thanks, but the subject are the ships, :))), that's the reason to be at "minimalism"

I love the darkness to this. The phrase that first comes to mind it "Urban Jungle". Well done.
