It's amazing how many letters are hidden in ordinary objects. Interesting framing choice. I like the little whispy clouds...
digitalchemy (A J Gunawan) said 1 year ago:
thank you Lamdennison, it's fun looking for a letter in every picture in this topic.

Great idea & good use of the cut-out !
But, I'm not sure that the rendering on lips and teeth is very good...

Excellent! Unique perspective (How original can I get). I'm in favour of cropping the bottom.
VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) added a critique 1 year ago:
this one is cool.
I think, if the bottom wouldn't be there then the comments would be like " I wish the shadow could be complete" :-))
so as it is wwe know why the shadow is not complete :-)))
cheers

I think I understand Vernon's idea and I agree. But the game is to suggest a way to improve the picture... In the end, you do what you want with the suggestions.
:o)

its great. the blurred foreground gives us distance. but its the shadow that really makes this image.

I like that. Is it a photo? I would love to know what you caught here. The blue fits perfect to the black.
McAWilliams (John Williams) said 1 year ago:
yep this is a photo of a trail of smoke from an incense stick, the really funny thing is I had the camera on the wrong white balance setting and got the blue hue, but I ended up been happier with this image then the other 50 odd I took, dunno it reminds me of a woman or something.
philippe (Philippe Reichert) added a critique 1 year ago:
Beautiful color and movement. I would crop it a bit, though. It would also fit perfectly in abstract.

Wow, I have seen such a former church in Italy once, but all my memories are not that beautiful as this image is. I wish you the best at the voting. You deserve a *
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
to say something constructive, I have to talk about the vignetting, It's at the sky, The blue changes like a sphere and maybe another angle would work better for this image.
It's only an opinion, as a hole image I like it, I like the colours, I would like a little bit more of sky and maybe some clouds round the church roof, but as I have said before it's a good image
digitalchemy (A J Gunawan) added a critique 1 year ago:
I cannot say something constructive, this one is beautiful.

Good perspective and nice framing to include the steam/smoke. Nice long exposure. You've turned an eyesore into something nice to look at. Good shot.

Wow...beautiful industrial it is. For me it may be just a touch over sharpened but it could be my monitor.
A strong portrait ! :-)
Very good, I like it.
