I like this a lot too. It has a mystery about it, even though it's quite obvious what the setting is. One is drawn into the image, and immediately begin to ask just what the stroy is. Nice one.

as above - lovely shot, great interpretation for the topic!

This is a lovely photo with an excellent atmospheric feel to it. The heat is palpable. I particularly like the processing and composition. Ordinarily, I would not be wild about the fine grain in the sky, but in this case it makes the photo look like an oil painting, which I like. Nice work.

I simply love the feeling that this photo gives me. If I had to be picky, simply would have included the entire sun in the frame - but not if that would take away the silhouettes, my favorite part.

Nice composition, but I think it's a bit too dark. I'd like a little more detail in the boat.

i crushed the blacks on this deliberately...wanted the only highlight on the boat to be on the rim. But i guess it got a little too much...:)

I like this a lot too. I understand the thoughts about the foreground, both ways. My comment would be: if you wanted to isolate the rim of the boat and the flag, then try totally darkening the foreground, make the area to the right of the frame near the bottom all black. The little bit of highlights that are there pulls the eye a little away from the focus you wanted and you really can't tell what it is. Might work better that way??
The sky and the flag with the light rays is beautiful.

I just love the red flag in the wind.

For me the scene in the bottom of the photo is just too dark to make out all the details. I have the gamma adjusted on my screen to the appropriate level. I would suggest you lighten the photo a little bit. The composition looks decent though, and the colors great. Maybe it's just my screen?

Very nice texture.
The problem that I have with this is the light is so bright that it blows out the details.
Look at the bottom most light streak. Note where the brick lines meet. At the bottom the seam is still seen. At the top there is no line, or detail at all.

Really nice photo. I like it that the highlight area in the center is to the edge of being blown out and you can't quite tell what's there. And the overall wide dynamic range is great.

The abstract shape of the concentric circles and the yellow/green cast to this image are strengths. The lens flair actually adds to the image, IMHO, because the lighting is so luminous. I really like this photo!

IMHO the center is too luminous but it's a nice one.

Wow very cool, I like the green in this photo. Sweet.

What an interesting staircase. The color is so unusual. It seems a bit soft although that may have been intentional?
I really like this image - it is constructed as a great enigma - what's all this ? what is this man doing on the roof ? why this big fabric there ?
and I like the left FG a bit blured too !
Great mood and mysterious image, cool for the theme .
