I really like the glow in the cookers, an the tones are great too! Excellent Shot!

This is excellent Matt. The data and processing info is interesting. Great shot.

Thanks Matt - I wasn't sure whether what I was seeing was done with Gaussian blur and masking or ??. I like it! I also like the high key effect of the lighting. Blown out whites work sometimes.

Great shot. WHen I see that white winter light I kow it's cold out. Really captures the cold outside and the heat inside. Very nice.

Time to break out the hot chili oil and soy vinegar.
The photo is so good, it makes me want a potsticker. :)

Great contrasts and detail, particularly on the further away right area.

My favorite out of all of them! Love how all the colors work so well together. I also like the edges of the glass.

Trying to work out what this is. Love the details in the droplets.

Thanks Heath (and good to hear from you). This is the vent on the top of a classic Weber charcoal grill on a beautiful morning after a soothing summer night's rain. I just couldn't resist how lusciously these rain drops were beading up on the slick surface.

Glad I blew this up to full size. It made me notice how eerie the background is!

I love the light on the pears. I'm not too fond of the shadow on the left and may have been tempted to a closer crop on the hanging basket. Makes me want to go buy a nice juicy pear!
eggplant (Matt) said 1 year ago:
Thanks Bob, I can appreciate your not being fond of the shadow. It was just so intense in the afternoon light, and so crisp in its focus, I just couldn't crop it out.
btw, the pears were quite succulent!

The shadow to the left works quite well.
Very peaceful image!

Reminds me of summers at my grandparents.
I can almost smell the scent of this pear... and taste it.
Very nice.

Oh wow this is very interesting. Its so difficul to photograph humming birds in flight! I've tried and haven't had too much luck, good job!
eggplant (Matt) said 1 year ago:
Thanks dontbrandme, and luck is what it was. I was also able to get the background so white because this was about ten feet from my house, which is white, and with some bracketing was able to eliminate the background (plus just a bit of dodging).

I'm worried that if I stare at it too long that something scary will pop out from down in the stairwell!
nice one!
