My red headed daughter's first lacrosse practice.

Great! That deep blue sky and backlighting, you did - again - a very good job. But don't trick me... the left figure is a statue, isn't it? Never mind, it's still a good 'action'-photo ;)
If you add this one into the topics 'backlighting' and 'clouds', you may have a chance to get another one featured!

This looks like a statue. Very cool.

Great job capturing this photo!! I really love how you catch some of that red hair in the sun! Would also work well in the silhouettes category! Good job!!!

great work on this silhouette - very dynamic and draws one quickly in...

Best,
Jon

Agree that the point of view here is very captivating and that your choice of exposure to put the figures into silhouette is very effective. Well done again!

Wow! Such positive comments from such photographers I admire -Tamara, Clyde, Noah, Jon and Boyd! Thank you!!!!! The photo is of my daughter holding the hand of a statue at the field of her first practice. The Native Americans are the founders of Lacrosse and the statue represents that. The September sky is a photographer's dream...and my daughter's red hair adds color.

Superb contre jour.
It's a shame that the background hide the shadows...

Hmmm...Richard, I will remember that when looking for the perfect angle next time...thank you...PS-my daughter was happy the photo made the cover of the local newspaper.
