Era una competicion?, una manifestacion? un dia normal de trabajo? o una excursion dominical?. En cualquiera de los casos cuidado con el fotográfo. Es una pequeña broma. La fotografia es original y muy buena. Enhorabuena. Saludos

Thank you juanantonio :)
It's a side-street in Saigon, that's the normal scene on a weekday afternoon..

That depend of the stock photo agency
for exemple: if i was crestock i would reject it
two reason they prefer white background and model release. Dont forget there commercially minded where could an marketing agency write a message on her side.
could be accepted as wildlife but with corrections to underexposure on the model, maybe what you sent
show to much noise as they are very demanding on size of picture, This one show slitgtly over saturation and level adjustement to compensate for burn out on arm.
I like the photo, but definitevly not stockphoto.
Go visit more stock photo agency to analyse what there need are.
Your own judjement will get it rigth.
Good work, keep on.
P.S the tree on the left was not needed (distracting), rule of 1/3 not there.
Hope its a helpfull comment.

Thanks Mario! I got your email and will look for what you did. I did shoot this one location and made the mistake of shooting this all in JPEG so I would have to dump as much. So that stupid move by me made me lose some quality. I kind of cheat - I upload actual size to my photoblog and copy and paste the new, smaller size here. -- sorry I shouldn't admit that... ;) I had noticed how distracting that wall is (it's the old capitol building for the state of Alabama) and the more I look at it, the more it bugs me.

I have to say the main problems in this photo are lightning and background. I won't discuss pose or framing because that is just subjective but in terms of lightning you have the model under a shade and strong light in her arms. Since the model has red hair you could take advantage of that by having her stand with light from behind (left or right, depending where she will be looking at), and use a reflector to lighten up the face and soften shadows.
Regarding background, try to find a background more even (the tree on the left messes the shot), or just blur it more, whether on location or later with photoshop). I leave you with a URL: www.acecam.com/magazine/gray-card.html

Thanks for the advice. I needed to have shot this from a different angle - or I will next time. She's actually sitting on the ruins of our state capitol. The "tree" in the backgroun is actually the brick. I guess my best solution would be to rotate my angle a few degrees and get it out of the shot.

It is technically a nice picture, but it does not sparkle, it does not invoke emotion. Perhaps you can do more with colors or reflections?
