photo could be beautiful if the quality would not so bad

Wonderful work on this one! Love your work, by the way - generally speaking.
Cheers,
jon

For whatever reason I like the "bad" quality on this one. Makes it more dreamlike.
Nicely done.
kisak (Kisa Kavass) said 6 months ago:
Thank you for liking the "bad quality". It was done with a lensbaby to give the blur and distortion to the picture. I have other versions that are sharp but the day I took this picture the dreamlike feel that you described was exactly what I was going for.

So I can't help but wonder with a topic named "Human Body" what the *!@$ did people expect to be posted? The line between "art" and "eroticism" and "pornography" is not as some wish to believe a clear line, it is a gray and fuzzy boundary that each sees and interprets individually. I vote: ART
And as for the issue of "safe for work," I don't know where you all work, but my experience is that I would have no more problem with a nude on my computer than I would with a photo of a flower. Work is not for Vazaar; and Vazaar is not for work. (Except for Brandon, of course)
misu (Mikhail Palinchak) said 6 months ago:
Dear Bob, I am realy glad that You think so and that you write this. Because my English don't allow me to write this, but I think the same. I hope soon on Vazaar will be topic NUDE!
lbstone (Brandon Stone) said 6 months ago:
For anyone who is coming in late on this, there is an additional conversation in the Vazaar Discussion group. That is where I'll focus my follow-up on the subject:

Bob... during my lunch (I eat at my desk) I like to browse vasaar and a few other photo blogs.
And it wasn't in the "human body" topic that it was opened, but when it was featured on the front page.

That lens-flare is crazy.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 6 months ago:
Ya it is :) Never realized how tough it would be to shoot a lighthouse at night. I wanted to go up and unscrew that light bulb on the building, it was killing me haha

Storm Approaching. Caught this one afternoon on my way home from work.

Yeah... sky is very dramatic and furious! Like the contrast of gray sky and green grass. Beautiful photo as always!
lbstone (Brandon Stone) said 6 months ago:
Daaaang. That sky feels heavy. Perfect for the topic.

Thanks Mikhail and Brandon! Was one of those luck catches you get driving sometimes.

Very cool image - makes me think of Japanese Ink and wash painting !
lbstone (Brandon Stone) said 6 months ago:
I hope that's just bait. Otherwise it's a pretty unimpressive catch, hah.
Great tones in this one, BTW.
TracyMartin (Tracy Martin) said 6 months ago:
Just bait. :)
Thanks.
I really like this one. In the context of the "Home" topic it's understated and poignant.
