Is it just DOF?....the tones and the man are beautiful and like his expression very much. If I should guess I would mean he has a good sense of humor....:)

Really like the feel of this and the vibe from the guy. Nice

Thanks!

@Jens - This was done with a Lensbaby... Crazy-tight DOF. It's really hard to manipulate the focus with that lens... This was a happy accident that actually focused right. ;) (I also did some curves/desaturation in Photoshop, but that's really all there was to it.)

He is a very nice guy... He took a group of us on a tour around the back-streets of London. Great sense of humor... I'd love to hang out with him and have a pint any time.

Also, this is him taking us through a tunnel.

I do love this shot Brandon, has Eric seen it? It captures him very well. And, yes, he is a very nice guy. Great use of the LensBaby, I know just how difficult they are to get spot on focus like this.

This is wonderful Brandon. You caught that little sparkle in his eyes and the LB created a nice soft vignette.

Really strong capture, great dynamism and character; it's refreshing to see a LB image that doesn't shout out that it was used.

Love the texture and the grain!

Overall this image has an incredible tonal range. This is what classic b&w photography looks like. Great job. It makes it even more interesting since Photoshop is being used. Do not have to do much in Photoshop to make a great image !
