Lovely lighting and long shadows. Nicely exposed though a bit blown out in a couple of places. I feel like I'm being drawn into the light. :-) Over all beautiful photograph.

Love this shot...the light and composition are really wonderful

Awesome light, little bit strong at some places but a stunning view of this place.

Thanks all. I agree it is a bit harsh in spots.

this is really cool, because of the fisheye effect. but i think it woud be better in bw. isn' it?

Nice crisp image.....I like it.

Very nicely done! The symmetry is excellent and the b/w is so perfect for images like these.
grahambo (Graham Siebe) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with Brachtr that the shot is generally good except for the blown out reflection. Perhaps a light touch with the shadows/highlight function in PS could fix it or make it less severe.
mizztech (Maria Little) added a critique 1 year ago:
very nice composition and contrasts..
only thing is like Brachtr says, the blown out reflection..
part from that I have nothing to say then this is a beauty :)
btw.. thx for your comment on my blog..
Cheers

What a super shot here, great motion!

Reminds me of the river horses in LOTR. The saturation difference between the chesnut horses and the almost b/w looking backgroun is particularly lovely.

I like your second cropping, but I was not that shocked by the first proposal. At the contrary, the silhouettes bring some mystery. What is there behind ?...
I also love the upper cloud, please do not crop it ! ;-)
A dreamy image !
marcouet52 (Mario Arcouette) added a critique 1 year ago:
I must admit not all wish come thru
the second crooping wich is what we wanted to see (good looking) lack spatial dimension, eyes not wandering to the point of interest (see comment from Lindy),I believe your original composition used the rule of 1/3 and it apply perfectly to this shot.
In conclusion must give a 4.5/5 score.
the minus .5 is not for that cigarette butt on any photo but for that one white line in the sky rigth over the 9 leave from the left over the flat cloud :)
diezel99 added a critique 1 year ago:
What an absolutely beautiful shot. The colours are so rich and the contrast is perfect.
aloha_photo (Jeff Sisemoore) added a critique 1 year ago:
What a sky! Beautiful work, Beamer. I vote for the original pic even with the large rock to the side. Something I like is the little tufts of clouds, some of which are perched just above the plant and are suggestive of flowers, rather than clouds. It's just another dimension of a striking image.

Many thanks Maria !
stunning!!!!!
one of the most beautiful cityscape reflections I ever saw.. the colours are amazing, so is that small cloud, without that photogenic cloud it wouldn't be that beautiful..
Have a nice weekend!!
