Love this, the only thing I would do to it is crop out some of the empty space at the top and if you can use a "shadow/highlights" edit to bring out some of the detail in the center of the flower.
Great job. Beautiful.

WOW what a very cool shot, nice clearity and colour. I just love the contrast. Good DOF.

nice macro shot, love the drops on the sunflower..
the only thing like Keith says is that I also should crop some of the empty space out.. part from that it's just perfect..
Greetzzzz...

Very interesting shot and post-processing. I like it a lot, though needs some focus on face in my view. Good work.

The face in this photo is blurred because I shot this photo through a thick window which distorts the whole image. The processing made the distortion irrelevent everywhere except the face, which I could not improve beyond this condition. The photo was a chance happening with no time to experiment as she got out of the pool right after this moment. Marcouet52 and chaba, thanks for your comments. I agree with you about the focus.

I love this picture!! The post processing you have done is excellent for this image.. it's almost painting like..
what disturbes me a bit is the border on the right of the picture.. I would of croped it more..
Part from that nothing to mention.. you captured here in a great mood.

Could I offer a slightly different look at this image? The immediate feeling this image creates for me is one of unease; apprehension. There is a commotion and tenseness caused by the blurring and lack of focus that makes me feel scared. Like the girl is drowning. That the image can cause such a strong reaction is good.
It is an artistic piece not designed to be another pretty picture to hang on the wall. It makes a bold and strong statement quite successfully. This may not have been your intention in taking the image, but it exists none the less; at least for me. I think your use of split toning enhances the feeling of a tense struggle within the image.

Thanks mizztech and uncommondepth for your detailed comments. I am particularly pleased with your response, Roberta, because the emotions you felt were exactly what I was going for when processing this image. Her awkward swimming style gave me the idea to project fear in the photo. (I assure you, though, she was in no danger in reality.)

I like the story this photo tells. I also like the patterns on the floor made by the tile and chair legs. The clothing on the woman is too washed out for my taste, and given the strong directional light perhaps less contrast would have been necessary to keep the whites from losing detail.

thx for your constructive comment Aloha.. I appreciate it al lot!!
and you're right.. the clothing is to washed away, I've lost a lot of details during processing.. I'm gonna try to fix it with the brush tool..
Cheers

I don't know, I kind like the effect, to brings your eye straight towards her and she almost appears to be glowing, like the light of her faith.

When reading her description, I'm sure this was the kind of view Lindy was expecting, when creating "Urban Art" topic.
But what a beautiful image ! Excellent use of the light.

one of the best pictures I've seen today.. light and compo our amazing!!
Congratz.. !
Just lovely... very good angle. Only one little point, I would have framed it in a panoramic format, and cropped a bit at the top.
