I really like this. It shows your love affair with your camera. This would go well in eyes, too. You have such soft pretty eyes. No wrinkles, I'm a little envious!

cheers, calisto

Muy bonita fotografia, creo que el equilibrio de tonos y contrastes es adecuado con lo que trasmite. Enhorabuena. Saludos

Me, I adore. I don't know how you carried out this photograph, but the result is there; an invitation for travel. The light under the bird is excellent. Greetings.

This is so captivating one shoudn't even think about the picture. I'm caught into it, that's great! :)
diamondnet (Dénes Szabó) said 10 months ago:
this pic is about "senses" for me. It was a good idea to blur the main theme... cause now we(viewers) have to observe and find out the story of the photo.
And the smaller man gives balance for this composition.
Title could be: "The meeting":)

I would really like to hear your technicals for this image. I love the depth of field and the depth to the tones. I would only add that I would like to see a little burn in on the top left side; just to add some detail to the image edge.

shallow DOF with all of the lines leading us to the center really makes this image work. awesome, I don't think I would change anything.

Perfect picture for a photography assignment about line and shape. Perfectly captured, great job!

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 11 months ago:
Sorry, Maria, the DoF really doesn't work for me, because I am barely aware that anything is in focus. This could be really nice if there was an obvious are of well illuminated and in focus foreground and the person and sky area were out of DoF. This just looks soft everywhere. The only part that appears to be in focus in a very small area of the handrail about 1/3 of the way up the image.

Though I'm not sure to understand why you blur the background that way, I still like it very much.
The contradiction within the idea, maybe... :)
richard (Richard Tugwell) said 11 months ago:
I know what Dao means, but for me it's not so important here that we have super "bokeh" out of focus. The interest for me is in how it's turned upside down. What is small becomes BIG and what is big becomes small
Gorgeous. Your eye is so good. The shadows are dark, but actually like it that way. Its a piece of art, therefore subject to high contrast as part of the photographer's vision. I probably would have done the same... but I apparently am a big sucker for blown detail. :)
I'm brilliant btw. How are you? Incidentally, I think you should post this.
Love love love your style.
