i think the boats are not so big in this shot...but thanks for the comment

I think the shot would "feel" more minimal if it didn't have the cloud across the top, but it is still topical. I like the cloud coming in from the right though.
If I could suggest one change, it would be to increase the sharpness on the boats and smooth out the sky.

i like the blue of the sky and the water. the color increases the compatibility with minimalism, but there might be too much going on to be really minimal.

Wow - what a lot of different ways to crop a shot like this! Any of them would be better than what you've done - just kidding, Geo. Nice shot - love the sailboats in the front right and back left of the shot - nicely balances the foreground anyway.
