I like this one but I would like to see it in color also. I think it would add that certain something...

I like the strength of the composition, but I would have liked to see the face of the stone a little sharper - it seems the focus is slightly "behind" the stone face and leading edge of the leaf. Interesting subject nevertheless.

I love the simplicity and the contrast of textures--I believe that something is needed in terms of creating a more striking image--overall, it's a wonderful image.

I like your limited d.o.f. and the clarity of the man's features (skin texture, hair texture, etc.) I'd like to see a little more space below his chin. It feels a little too tight. Although this also adds tension, and this guy is very tense. Maybe that works?!

I love how he is surrounded by the darkness... it lets his eyes burn through you. Very nice.

Very, very impressive portrait. It is as if this man had two faces. Sometimes I feel he looks angry, and one second after, I feel he is deeply good, almost a bit sad. Very strange indeed. This photograph is hypnotic.
But of course, I love it ;-)

A stunning image. Mostly symmetrical but for the flowers which gives it a bit of tension.
As for two minor nitpicks; a little more dof so the right flower would be sharp too and maybe a tent to control the reflections on the vase.

Excellent tones. I like the crispness of the image. Though the harsh reflections on the vase are a bit distracting, so a slightly more diffuse light source might work better.

Superb lighting and love the symmetry. Very difficult to find anything that could be improved upon, would endorse Jondor's comments above, beautiful work!

This is a great idea, but I agree with psychodudu it seems to be missing something. Maybe one drop of different color water or different colored lighting, just a suggestion.

i stared at this for 5 min-trying to find a hidden message, i agree it would be more striking with a dash of colour!
