Never mind, clearly there is a second light source from the left or from high up above. Maybe it should be more diffused the next time.

I find this a VERY intriguing image. I think the woman is pregnant...? My guess and if true it would explain both the pose and the tensions/passion of the expression.
With the framing on the other 3 sides, I would not have cropped her head at the top. The composition now feels very bottom heavy. Just a bit of headroom please.

Me gusta esta fotografia, la luz en los ojos y las manos acentuan el mensaje. Desde mi punto de vista composicion equilibrada. Enhorabuena. Saludos

The body language here is very interesting. Ultimately, however, I come away not understanding this woman's situation - maybe this is the point?

This is a very dramatic!I like the lighting in this shot...I like the way its mostly on one side of her face...and then a bit on her temple....nice shot.

like her facial expression and her body language
would be nice not to crop out the tip of her head

I keep coming back to this. I like the image because of the mystery created by the pose. What is she trying to tell me. I can't figure it out, and that keeps me coming back to the image.

I think it's fundamentally a good shot. There is a distinct feeling about the subject, and the subject's personality. Without knowing her, I'm going to assume that you've captured a certain part of her. For what it is worth, this woman does not come across as a nice person - she seems very "hard."
In terms of composition the pose is odd. She'S not mid-motion, but nor is her left hand resting on her in a way that seems natural. It's almost as though she's covering an injury.
Technically the lighting is harsh, but that could easily be a creative choice. There are very strong shadows across her face. Especially her nose casts a shadow right over to her eye, and an additional, slightly dimmer light source from the left might have filled the dark areas a little while still setting a specific directionality.
... und wenn ich irgend wie unklar war kann ich Dir das Alles gerne nochmal auf deutsch zukommen lassen... :-)
