Ha! Funny. You can see the capricious look in it's eye. It is an Angora goat isn't it?

This is a cool portrait. :o)

Perhaps a self-portrait, even? There is so much we don't know about Brandon!

Yes, he's a part time sheperd and photographer. That aside, a really like the general conformation of this. It might have been taken with a lubitel or something like it.

This wonderful guy lives at our summer ranch in Colorado. It's kind of a long story, but my wife and I found him while hiking on one of the back trails. He was just a baby... sickly and almost dead. We nursed him back to health over many months. After he was healthy enough we drove him far away in our beat-up old Jeep and set him free. Amazingly, he was able to find us again and to this day he never goes very far away from our property. We decided to name him Leland.
Actually, everything I just said is a complete fabrication. None of it is true. We have no ranch, no Jeep, and I'm pretty sure my wife and I have never even gone hiking together. The true story is much less interesting, so I'll spare you the details.
Sometimes it's fun not to know things, because you get to make up whatever you want!

I am making this a favorite.
Not only is this a wonderful photograph, but the story is entertaining too. ;)

Nice colors, subject and vintaging. The main problem with this photo is lapse of white on the head and back of the goat!

BTW, You have made a great site... it is pitty that there isn't a lot of photographers!
