Hello turkana, in what relates to me, I acknowledge being to stop in my reading by the rocks, then, I take the road, and here I'm left the image. They are only my feelings, IMHO. On the other hand, you knew to keep by your exposure and your development the environment of the day and to thus give you character to your vision. Greetings.

Funny, I was just reading an art book last night and the subject was about leading in or out of the frame. The book recommended keeping the subject (in this case the road) moving into the frame so your eye moved naturally to all points of the picture....the eye then does not have to jump back to see the rest of the picture. Similar to a portrait where the person look into the picture, not right at the edge look out of the picture.
Either way, this is a great capture with beautiful color contrast! Well done. And of course, you couldn't redesign the road :-)
If anyone is interested in this book, it is very good so far, it is named "The Simple Secret to Better Painting: How to Immediately Improve Your Work with the One Rule of Composition"

Not much to say about this one except - great capture - well seen and well executed.
Best,
Jon

Wonderful shot.
I like how the road leads your eye through the left side of the frame.
You then have the see, or body of water, that slowly leads you back to the front of the frame. Very nice exposure and details.
The fog gives it a somewhat mysterious feel!
